It’s not about drastically changing your life, it’s about one small action every day. It’s about thinking globally and acting locally. It can be as simple as switching to better light bulbs, recycling at home, or riding your bike to work. One small gesture today can have a big impact tomorrow, next week, or even next year!

In this Green themed event, teams will compete against each other using their “environmentality” to complete a series of eco-challenges. Teams will receive a list of locations and challenges, as well as everyday tips and hints for everyday acts of green. At each location teams will perform the designated task (ranging from organic taste tests to a random act of environmental kindness) to learn about every day environmental issues and, once the task has been completed, to collect EcoTokens. Depending on the degree of difficulty, and duration of environmental impact, each activity will earn the team a different number of tokens.

The teams do not have to complete the challenges in any particular order and not all the challenges are mandatory. Teams must work together to decide the best strategy for acquiring the highest possible points in the allotted time frame and assign responsibilities based on personal proficiencies and existing skills. The team that turns in the most EcoTokens will be declared the Green Team and their achievements will be noted during the closing ceremony.

This activity is best suited for an urban center, and can be started from any location.

We typically require 4 hours with your group with the actual activity lasting approximately 3 hours, although this is completely flexible.

And yes, like almost all our team building activities, this event is completely scalable for large groups of any size.

How much does this event cost?

$$$: For us to come and host this event for your group, the investment will typically be in the $125-$200 per person range, depending on your group size, preferred location and event date. Your investment includes:

• Deluxe, full-service event package
• Complete pre-event communication for operations and logistics
• Event-day coordination including liaising with venues (we can help you source many hotels, resorts and venues in Vancouver)
• On-site professional Event Leader and friendly event hosts
• All materials, equipment and additional entrance fees (if required)
• Post-event re-cap and team achievement and award recognition
• Delivery, set up, management and break down of event.
